I am lonesome, oh, so lonesome for that far away southwest,
Where the shadows fall the deepest over the mountain crest.

I can see a lurking coyote all around the purple haze;
I can hear a lobo hollering down where the longhorns graze.

And somewhere up a canyon I can hear a lion whine,
In that far off Catalina Mountains at the Arizona line. 65-0217 A Man Running From The Presence Of The Lord

My Old Ford

Of myoId Ford they all make fun, they said she was born about 1901; Well, maybe she was, but this I'll bet, she's good for a many a long mile yet.

The windshield's gone, and the radiator leaks, the fan belt's loose, and the horsepower squeaks; With a rattle in the front, and a grind in the rear, and a Chinese puzzle for a steering gear.

She makes noise, and the bolts are loose, but she gets thirty miles on a gallon of juice; If I can't get gasoline, I'll burn kerosene; I've even driven her in on paris green.

When you buy other cars, you get a lot of tools, extra parts and a book of rules; But all I've carried, for the last thirty years, has been a good pair of wire cutters and pair of shears.

But I hope I live to see the day when she breaks up, like the one-horse sleigh; Then, if Henry Ford stays in the game, I'll buy me another one by the same old name. William Manion Branham
