276. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'D DO

I Don't know what I'd do,
I don't know what I'd do,
I don't know what I'd do without the Lord;
When I look around and see,
All that He has done for me,
I don't know what I'd do without the Lord.

Without Him I can do nothing,
Without Him I'd surely fail;
Without Him I would be drifting,
Like a ship without a sail.

So I'll ask Him to be my Pilot,
His word my compass and guide;
Till I've anchored safely in glory,
For without Him I'd drift with the tide.

Jesus, my Jesus,
Do you know Him today?
Please don't turn Him away,
Oh, Jesus, my Jesus
Without Him how lost I would be.
